My rankings include the entire 40 man roster – not just the active 25 man.
These rankings were compiled with the help of MLB stats, FanGraphs, misc. data, personal opinion, and some fairy dust I found hidden in Shoemaker’s beard.
An asterisk* means the player was not on the active roster at the time of this posting.
Updates to List:
September call-ups included Brennan Boesch, Efren Navarro, Tony Campana, John Buck, CJ Cron, Luis Jimenez, Shawn O’Malley
Grant Green was removed from the DL
JB Shuck was removed from the 40 man roster

2 more home runs (sound like a broken record from last week). Also had the team’s only stolen base last week. Wait – Trout can still steal bases?? |

Riding high on his hitting streak which now stands at 17 games. Aybar had an amazing .556 OBP last week. Would love to see his streak last 20+ games! |

He’s been solid and reliable. .357 OBP last week. |

He pretty much was amazing last week. 1.244 OPS, 2 home runs and a .440 OBP. Conger who? |

Kole had a rough week and struck out 9 times with a .100 Average. He’s human after all. |

Well, Freese was frozen last week. Nearly. He just barely batted better than Calhoun and just barely had less strikeouts. |

10 for 30 with a home run last week. And he got called up to play once in a while. So many third basemen… |

Hasn’t really done anything yet this year. How much playing time will he even get?? |

Good news: He recently won the PCL batting crown! Bad news: He hasn’t shown he can hit for the Angels yet. |

Still kinda sucks. With all the outfielder options now his playing time will be very limited. |

Called up recently as well. To be just a pinch runner? His stolen base rate this year has been less than stellar. |

Yay! With the September call-ups there is now room to move McDonald DOWN one more spot. |
