Week 7 Angels Rankings – Position Players

The Angel’s offense continues to struggle. Sounding like a broken record.  Sounding like a broken record. Only two regulars batted over .240 last week.

My rankings include the entire 40 man roster.  These rankings were compiled with the help of MLB stats, FanGraphs, misc. data, personal opinion, and some fairy dust I found hidden in Shoemaker’s beard.

8	Grant Green***	8	–	8	16	Hit in every game but 1 last week and actually took 3 walks so he must be getting more patient.
9	Collin Cowgill	9	–	5	9	1 for 6. Snooze. At least he’s better in left field that Joyce who make me nervous every time the ball is hit his way.
10	Efren Navarro	10	–	4	11	Still strong in AAA.
11	Jett Bandy***	12	+1	11	19	Dude has been amazing this year. Last week he had 2 home runs and went 5 for 14.
12	Kyle Kubitza***	11	-1	10	14	Win some loss some and some are just okay.
13	Josh Rutledge***	13	–	1	19	5 for 15.  Apparently he hits better in AAA.  For now.
14	Daniel Robertson***	15	+1	11	19	Only had 1 hit last week.
15	Gary Brown***	14	-1	14	20	Good week for this kid.  Had 2 home runs last week and went 4 for 5 on Sunday.
16	Taylor Featherston	16	–	15	16	Taylor who?
17	Matt Krauss	–	–	–	–	Welcome to the bigs.  Don’t suck it up too bad.  Oops.  Too late?
